Scrapping This Week

As I've been unpacking more boxes, I've realized just how many pictures I have accumulated over the years. Now I need to do something with them!

So what have I been doing? Working with my 2012 pictures! It doesn't help get rid of all those extra pictures I have but I'm enjoying working on this year. Here's just a couple of new additions to my scrapbook junque journal:

What's also nice is I'm working my way through my supplies. I still haven't unpacked half of what I own so I'm trying to use up what I can actually see!

Memory Keeping

Long ago before I started my card business, I used to scrapbook. But when my business got going, pictures and memory keeping went on the back burner. Lately I tried to get my hand back into it and I realized that I no longer am inspired to scrap the way I used to. So I gave myself permission to start over and scrap the way that feels right to me now.

I have been inspired by Tangie Baxter and her junque journals. They are easy to make and hello, I have something like 2000 composition notebooks on hand! I also like the smaller size. Sometimes I jsut add a photo or two and the page feels complete to me. (remember that for me clean and simple is not just a type of style, it's my type of style).

Meg headed off this morning on a big school adventure so I thought I'd show off a recent page of her.

Love the black and whtie photos at the beach. Added some white pen for effect and a page I love.
