Unusual Colors

A while back I was given a challenge to create anniversary card using the colors orange and brown. Luckily my client still had the wedding invitation so I could match the shades of orange and brown a little better.

The invite was fun with lots of circles and color. I decided to try to recreate that feel for their anniversary card.

I took the picture first thing in the morning when it was dark so forgive the lighting. I used a combination of circles and dots in the orange and brown using Papertrey and Spunky Stamps. The sentiment is from Verve.

I was happy with how the final product matched the original wedding invite but I had a few moments of panic when I first discovered the color combo!
