Well, we're in August, the dog days of summer so I've decided to show a Christmas card today. I haven't pumped out too many Christmas designs yet this year but I was itching to try this folder so that got me motivated.
This card is all about the embossing and of course one of my favorite color combo's, red and white. I embossed the ornaments first and then stamped the sentiment (Papertrey) with Stampin' Up real red ink.
The embossing jazzes up the simplicity of the card and I'm liking it. I haven't decided whether to play around with this design in other colors or not, but it's a thought.
EDITED TO ADD FOLDER INFO: I don't always know which company these folders come from but luckily, I checked and this one says it right on it - Cuttlebug folder from Provocraft
The kids were home last week so there was no creative mojo, hence the lack of blogging. I snuck down to the studio today so I'm hoping to have more to show you in the upcoming week, even more Christmas!
Have a great night!
Perfect! That's the way to do up some quick cards, with the folders. Lovely card!!
