Hello from an almost winter wonderland - the kids are planning on wearing their pj's backwards and putting spoons under their pillows to ensure a snow day. A snow day would be helpful because we haven't worked on Valentine cards for their classmates yet. I'm kind of relying on tomorrow having the day to work on them.
But today I have a cute little digi project. This month a new site called the special 50/50 digital stamping group started. It's a mixture of crafters and digi stamp creators where each month the stamp creators offer stamps which we create with.
So speaking of my kids, I took this adorable image from Softpencil to make mini valentines for Meg and Conor.
The image was printed out and colored with copic (C0) and prismacolor (crimson) markers. The heart is the perfect size for a sentiment so I stamped this one from Verve Visual with Memento ladybug red ink.
I am completely embracing this 3 x 3 inches format and you will be seeing more of these in the future. I'm off to try to corral the kids into bed. Conor asked that since there isn't any school tomorrow (positive thinking little bugger that he is) can he and Meg stay up late. Have a great night!
Very cute!
