Well, the cold has not let up here yet but I thought I'd heat things up by turning to making Valentine's Day cards. Lucky for me, I just received the stamps from Verve Visual that I bought during their recent sale. Here are two cards, almost the same but with slight color differences.
This one focuses on red and brown. The stamps are all from Verve Visual. The hearts are stamp with Memento ladybug red ink and the sentiment is done with Memento cocoa ink. I added some ribbon and Doodlebug jewels and done. I originally tried this as a one layer card but the total amount of white space had me second guessing the design so I added a bottom layer to the while thing.
It's almost impossible to tell but this one is a red and black color scheme. The hearts are again done in ladybug but the sentiment is stamped with tuxedo black ink (and the base is black rather than brown). I changed up the ribbon too.
Those stamps have inspired a few more ideas but I haven't put them down to paper yet. I think I need to play around a bit but I will be back tomorrow with some more hearts. Have a great night!
I love your CAS card. Red and white is such a great color combo and your accents are perfect.
