Today's post is all about Meghan and her project. The third grade is doing a unit on the West Indies and they had to choose a topic and a corresponding project. Meghan picked early Cuban history (really???) and then decided to attempt a 3-D timeline.
As a side note, when we brought it in today her teacher told me she was really surprised with that choice of topic, no one had ever tried this before.
If you had asked me last week about how it would turn out, I would have had my doubts but everything came together (thank goodness for Monopoly and Life game pieces) and except for the glue gunning, Meghan did this project on her own.
I suggest clicking on for a closer picture ~ it came out quite good for an 8 year old, if I do say so myself!
Awesomeness!!!
