Picture this...you turn on the computer - check.....you turn on the monitor - check.....you walk away to let it all warm up......you come back to the computer and the monitor is blank - no light - no power - nothing.
This has happened the last three days and only after multiple replugging attempts (and prayers) does the monitor start working. Our luck will only hold out so long so since we were planning on upgrading our tower anyway, guess who got a new computer today? Now, it's still in the box and will probably be until the weekend but if I stop posting you'll know a)my monitor luck deserted me, b)we're installing the new computer but it's not going well or c)any of the other multitude of potential problems technology may have in store for me. But for now, I have some super simple Valentine's cards that have the added satisfaction of using up paper scraps.
I've used this design before but I like it so I thought I'd make up some more. Basically, go through your scrap pile (you know you have one) and pick out pretty scraps. I cut the hearts out with my scallop nestie set but you can use punches if that's what you have. I wanted to add something to the hearts so I scored the base cardstock and added some jewels. And that's pretty much it. Here's some more....
Hopefully, I will see you tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that my computer luck holds! Have a great night!
Laura, these are all sooo cute. I've been looking for some CAS ideas for VDay and these are just precious. Thanks for sharing. Hope all goes well with the computer transitions....those make me sooo nervous!
