Happy Tuesday! I thoroughly enjoyed my massage today and I have stretching homework - thank goodness for the foam roller - it keeps me from tightening up like a complete pretzel!
I haven't done a CAS challenge in a while so I sat myself down to get one completed. This week the challenge was to use sponging on a card. Since the holiday is fast approaching, I thought I'd go the Thanksgiving route.
This is actually a smaller card than my usual, measuring in at just 3.5 x 5 inches. I first created a template with a nestability die and created the sponged element with orange zest (Papertrey) ink and a stipple brush. Both the image and sentiment are from Verve Visual and stamped with memento tuxedo black ink. I then took the next level of nestie die and created my cut out. Finally I added the small little crystals (Taylor's Twinkles) although I realized that I really (really) need one of those Quickutz tools for the small gems. I had problems with one of them and the glue which I can tell because it fell off! The pumpkin swirl on the right should have a little crystal like the other two.
I'm off to bed - I found myself wide awake at 4am this morning and have absolutely no energy let to spare. Hope you have a good night!
i really like the softness of this

I like how you used the next smaller die as a stencil leaving the white space around it. It looks great!
