I took a few days away from the stamping world after all the yuckiness that happened earlier in the week. For a while, I followed the debate but decided that hearing the pros and cons rehashed and argued about was more harmful than helpful. After not viewing any of it the last couple of days I feel MUCH better and plan to stay in my own little happy stamping world.
This week I did happen to finish the Splitcoast CAS challenge. The challenge was to take a card of your own and remake it, CAS style. I looked through my inventory and chose one that was getting low and I needed to make more of anyway and then I simplified it.
This is a super simple 5 minute card. The image is from Stampin Up. I used Garden Green, Summer Sun and More Mustard for the flower. The sentiment is from Stampendous and stamped in Garden Green.
And that's it. A bunch of cards were created in under an hour. I'm also still working on multiples of cards you've already seen for some orders. I'm hoping to maybe get some stamping time in this weekend. We are planning a bbq tomorrow but it's all family and Mo and I were cleaning machines today so tomorrow should be a breeze! I think I may have to get inky. Have a great day!
I feel you, sister. **sigh** Anyway, this is a beautiful card! I love the focus on the flower!
