Happy Friday! I have a little one home sick today so my day was quiet. But I can still enjoy a carnival from home. Do you read the Craft Critique blog? They showcase some of the latest and greatest out in the crafting world with in depth reviews. Another great part of the blog is their carnivals. The latest one is their Valentine's Carnival. They collect blog links from all over the internet as a showcase of inspiration for us all. If you make it to the end, you'll find my links about 4 from the bottom!
So yesterday I showed you my Lilly tree. Today I have Conor's monkey tree. I gave him his choice of various stamps for his lollipop covers and he chose the monkey's.
Here's a pic of his tree all done up. This one was created the same exact way as Meg's Lilly tree yesterday. Conor's class has a few more people than Meg's so his tree is a little fuller looking. This tree has 22 lollipops. I'm not sure it could hold many more than that without really squeezing them in.
Here's a close up of the monkey. I colored these little guys with prismacolor pencils and blended them with baby oil. Took me about 2 hours to do up all 22 monkey's but the rest of the project was put together pretty quickly.
And that's all I've got for today. I'm off to get the kids dinner and after their off to bed I'm going to check out all those great carnival links. Have a great night!
So cute!! I love this. Great job. I am sure the kids loved it too!

I love both of your Valentine trees. I think it's great that you home-make your kid's Valentines.
