Need a quick note for a teacher or a neighbor? I am having so much fun creating these little postcard/notecards. They are fast and easy to create and come in so handy, especially when I am in situations where I don't need a full blown card.
I had gotten some new stamps from The Cat's Pajamas which had yet to see ink. I thought they would look cute creating a top border for these notecards.
I used three different small ornaments and stamped them across the top of the white layer. I used red and navy ink from Stampin' Up and pine green ink from Close to My Heart. I varied the heights of the ornaments to give the whole thing a bit more interest.
After the ornaments were all stamped, I added a gold peel off sticker strip as the string for the ornaments. Finish off with the sentiment in navy and layer onto a hunter background and there you go, quick holiday notecards.
And here is a small bunch I did up for notes this week.
On the home front, aaaah, I got out of the house today and got some fresh air. Alright, it was downright frigid air but after being cooped up inside for three days, I didn't care. We're still battling the germs but I think we're winning and hope that by Christmas things will be healthy here. Have a great night!
Quick and easy, gotta always love that (I know I do)
