....turn to the cuttlebug. Last week Mo and I had a 40th birthday party to go to for one his friends. About half an hour before we are set to leave (kids and us out the door), Mo tells me he needs a card. After giving him the why do you do this to me look, I run downstairs to get something put together.
What I like about the cuttlebug is the ability to get a nice looking background in the time it takes you to cut your cardstock.
I also find the monochromatic look a good design tool when I want to make something quick. Everything just seems to go together a lot quicker for me that way.
The only stamping on this card is the tree from Papertrey. I used the distress stripes background on the cuttlebug and these great copper brads from American Traditionals and within just a few minutes, Mo had his card.
Weather Watch: We are getting ready for lots and lots of rain with Storm Hanna. As I look outside, I see it has begun. I figured I'd get my crafty surfing in now in case we lose power. And we are expecting thunderstorms so I'll need to turn the computer off for that anyway. If you've been hit by Hanna, I hope you were not flooded and are doing well - I will see you again tomorrow when they tell us it will be dry again.
haha I always love a good story that comes with a card.
