This morning I sat outside on my patio, drinking my coffee, doing the crossword puzzle and watching the birds at the feeders. The temperature was divine with a slight breeze and the beighborhood was quiet beyond the bird calls. After such inspiration, I decided to show my butterfly pictures today. A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I went to a butterfly museum. We usually go once a year and as the kids get older, the trip gets little more enjoyable each time. This year they really enjoyed themselves and had all kinds of butterflies land on them. The trick I've decided is to wear a baseball cap - they seemed to love landing on the caps.
I love the fact that the butterflies let you get so close. I obviuosly had the zoom lens on as well but they really are right in front of your face when they land on the plants.
wow those butterflies are gorgeous. Great pictures.
