It is hard to believe but last Friday my "baby" graduated from preschool. He is so excited to start kindergarten. He thought as soon as he turned five, that meant he could start THE NEXT DAY. I've been kind of under the gun for deadlines so I went for a simple sweet treat to hand out to Conor's friends.
Since these were going to four and five years, I made them purposely simple. Honestly, the kids would be going for the candy the first shot they got!
I call these my Hershey Kisses Holders and they are super easy to make. You start with a piece of cardstock 4.25 x 5.5. You score it lengthwise at 11/4, 21/4 and 31/2 inches. Fold at the scores.
The front decorative piece measures 1 x 51/4 inches. I usually fold to figure out which of the panels will hold my front panel, I then adhere that. Using double sided tape, I place the hershey kisses (it holds five nicely) down and then seal the whole thing up. These are certainly very simple but you can add all sorts of ribbon and things to spruce them up whichever way you want. The graduation hat stamp is from Stampin' Up. I deliberately used the red and the blue because we have two high schools in town, one whose school colors are blue and one that is red.
Have a fantastic day!
These are so adorable and big kids would love them too!
