Cute clipboard, I made one for my daughter too! How funny. You can puree the basil and freeze it in ice cube trays for use in the winter when you can not get it fresh. We make an easy pesto and freeze it in small batches. And it is yummmy with fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzerella cheese mmmmm. Hope this helps you out.

I love basil!
1. put leaves on top of sliced tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar... yum...
2. make pesto... google a recipe. Freeze the pesto in ice cube trays, then use throughout the year in pasta dishes...
3. goes great in any pasta dish!
4. dry, upside down (some stems full of leaves) then crush and put into plastic ziplock bags, after completely dry - otherwise it will mold...
