April has brought sunshine and spring to our cold state. I know it's not here for good yet but it made for a gorgeous weekend. I love the smell of spring - fresh air.
I spent the weekend on the wedding invitations order. I'm almost done. It should be done by tomorrow and then I can move on to other things - yeah!
I am working on journal jars for the Sunday School teachers. Next week is the last week of classes and I thought that might be a nice present. I worked on the questions tonight during my computer time. Yes, I worked rather than surf the net. I'm rather proud of myself for resisting temptation.
I was planning on doing the blog challenge on two peas but when I looked up the kiddos names, the meanings on that site didn't speak to me. I may continue looking for alternate meanings but I thought for fun, I'd talk about how they got their names. Meg was named after Meg Snyder of As the World Turns. As a teenager, I used to watch that and loved the name Meg. I wanted to change my name but instead decided that if I ever had a girl, I'd name her Meg. And I did. Conor was named after the main character Conor Larkin in Leon Uris' Trinity. That was Mo's favorite book and he decided that if he ever had a boy, he'd name him Conor. And he did. Good thing both of us liked each other's chosen names!
I'm hoping to get back into the studio tomorrow. I think rain's on its way which is the perfect excuse for staying inside to play!
