It's finally done!

I got to Michael's yesterday and got my basket filler and finally have the fundraiser basket all finished. I originally planned to paint the basket a light colored purple and stamp the same flowers on it but as I started, totally changed my mind. I decided I wanted to try my hand at the crackle technique. I've never done it before but figured that I'd give it a try. I painted a lighter purple, did the crackle finish and then painted a darker purple, hoping to match the colors in the flowers. I love the crackle look and its so cool how you start to see the paint actually break apart right away. I was going to wrap a deeper purple ribbon around the lighter one but couldn't get the look I wanted so I added a few Prima flowers to the front center instead. Now we'll see if anyone bids on it!
